Once you decide to bank your baby’s stem cells with us, you need to subscribe for the service, preferably a few months in advance before the expected delivery date.
You can contact our 24x7x365 customer support team or our LifeCell center nearest to you and our executives will assist you through the process of enrolment. The process is very simple and you can enroll over the phone if you wish to. You can also make payment through easy and simple modalities like pay online, cheque/DD, ECS as preferred by you.
Upon completion of enrolment LifeCell will provide you the umbilical cord blood & cord tissue collection kit. Please inform your doctor about your decision to preserve your baby’s stem cells.
Please remove the gel packs from the kit box and deep-freeze them by placing flat in the freezer compartment of your refrigerator. Store the kit in a cool, dry and well ventilated place at a temperature of 22 to 25 degrees centigrade and avoid exposure to excessive temperature or humidity.
On your way to the hospital, please inform our customer support that you are about to deliver and provide them your contact information and they will guide you through the process. You need to carry the kit, gel packs and all related documents to the hospital / nursing home while proceeding for delivery. On reaching the hospital, place the gel packs in the deep freezer immediately.
